SHOWREEL
Dance classes: Contemporary Fusion
FOR DANCERS:
My Contemporary Fusion dance class begins with a thorough warm-up designed to prepare the dancer’s body while developing technique, musicality, and coordination. The warm-up blends various movement methods, including ballet, Cunningham and Release-based exercises, floorwork, as well as elements of body conditioning and yoga. This comprehensive preparation leads into choreography work at the end of the class, allowing dancers to explore performance quality.
My dance style fuses contemporary, commercial, and often energetic Latin rhythms. You can expect fluid floor transitions, graceful body lines, high leg kicks, and sensual hip movements. The class is centered around discovering the joy of movement, offering space for self-expression, and always takes place to vibrant, rhythmic music.
FOR BEGINNERS:
The Contemporary Fusion class is designed for anyone who has always wanted to dance but felt intimidated by the idea of joining a dance studio, worried that everyone else has more experience. In my class, you'll be guided through a full-body warm-up set to joyful, energetic music so you can feel what it’s like to dance right from the start. Unlike ZUMBA, this class focuses on learning a full choreography, helping you build skills such as movement memory and musicality. My style combines contemporary dance, commercial, and often energetic Latin rhythms. There will also be space for improvisation, a moment to express yourself freely.
By the end of class, you’ll leave feeling energized, more confident, and with a few new dance moves to show off!
Testimonials
Mary Condon O’Connor (performer)
I had the pleasure of first working alongside Natalia during the 2023 Camden Fringe Festival, and it quickly became clear that she is an exceptional talent. She balances professionalism with a grounded approach, always striving to bring out the best in herself and those around her. Her acting is a combination of fierceness and tenderness, allowing her to handle humour and deeply emotional themes with ease.
Natalia is also one the creative mind behind Ineka, dance theatre work that centres women’s voices and the visionary behind Pleasure Chapters: No More Salad. Her openness to collaboration is inspiring; she doesn’t just work with others - she invites them in, fostering an environment where creativity and shared storytelling can truly thrive.
Her dedication, passion, and ability to connect make Natalia an invaluable presence in any project, and it’s been a privilege to work alongside her.
Stefan Puxon (choreographer)
I worked with Natalia on a fashion film. She was very professional and hard-working but also funny and uplifting to have around. I hope to work with her again, soon.
Vittoria Rizzardi Penalosa (director)
Working with Natalia was an inspiring experience; her versatility as a dancer and choreographer brought incredible depth to the two projects we worked together. Her commitment to teamwork and her natural ability to adapt to each scene’s unique demands made her an invaluable creative partner on set.
Paul Bellon (director)
Had a great time shooting with Natalia. A great dancer, always up to try new things. A real pleasure to work with her.
Georgie McGuigan (dance student)
The progression I saw and felt in myself after just three sessions with Natalia was incredible! Her warmup and technique drills were so detailed and each week I found myself mastering a section that had, just the week before, felt almost completely out of reach. The choreography was fun while challenging (both in its dance content and musicality) and I left each session feeling empowered by being able to just dance it out over and over!
